- There is a Board of Selectmen with five representatives.
- Every 2 years there is an election for Selectmen and every Selectmen can serve for only 2 terms.
- Seashell Island has a democracy.
- We have Town Hall representatives that can grant permission for certain requests.
- Citizens can create a bill which must be voted on by the Board of Selectmen or citizens (depending on the bill).
- Citizens of Seashell Island can vote at the town hall or at a public place on iPads. The iPads have fingerprint ID and a muti-digit and letter password to ensure that your count is safe.
- Seashell Island Laws:
- Punishment fits the crime (eye for an eye)-have jails too
- Every house must have solar panels and must be efficient in electricity.
- Any new residents must gain citizenship from the City Court or a visa which can be granted by a town hall official.
- Littering is strictly prohibited and if occurs, person can be granted with a $500 fine from police.
- Public education must be provided for free with taxes from citizens.
- Helmets are required for any person who uses the public bikes or any form of transportation or could result in fine.
- All changes in house exterior must be approved by a town hall representative.
- All citizens are required to keep their land clean and free of unwanted material or possible fine could be granted.
- All workplaces must provide health insurance for workers, and unemployed, qualified persons may apply for free healthcare.
- All businesses must be approved by a member of the town hall, and must receive monthly check-ins by a member.
